Care Facilities and the Need

7 out of 10 Americans will spend a portion of their lives in a nursing home or care facility. However, most of these residents receive few to no visitors from outside of their home—it is estimated that 60% of residents never receive a single visitor. For most Christians, this also means they lose their church community when they enter a care facility.

The People of God Gathered for Word and Table

Our worship at MorningStar is a not just a ministry outreach, but is deeply connected to the life of Missio Dei. Each Saturday at 11AM, about 10 leaders and volunteers join about 20 residents for worship, scripture, proclamation, prayer, and fellowship. On the first Saturday of each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.
